Once again the holidays have arrived, bringing with them another year of local lighting entertainment from the Phoenix Zoo. From November 24th to January 11th valley residents will have the chance to view more than 3.8 million lights, over 700 sparkling displays, and many other holiday attractions at ZooLights. Each year hundreds of thousands of people come to experience the magic of these lighting displays, making ZooLights one of the largest holiday light shows in the country!
Some may marvel at the sheer amount of power it must take to power these massive exhibits for over a month. But thanks to the collaborative efforts of SRP and Earth Wise Energy, ZooLights is powered by environmentally friendly sources including solar energy. In order to make the most efficient us of this energy, nearly all of the Zoo Lights displays have been converted to LEDs which offer the same brilliant light output using only about a third of the power required by incandescent bulbs.
This holiday season Inspired LED is proud to announce that you can see our very own LED lights featured in one of the Zoo’s newest attractions! After debuting on the Scottsdale Waterfront earlier this year, the Water Striders will join the ranks of the illuminated elite in their very own display at Zoo Lights. Be sure to stop by and see our LED lights in action! Zoo Lights is now open nightly from 5:30-10:30. Tickets are available online at phoenixzoo.org.

We have been extremely busy here at Inspired LED preparing for all of our holiday giveaways, promotions, and seasonal cheer. This seems to be our busiest time of the year, but also the most exciting! Adding to our excitement this month is the introduction of a new product to our line of rigid panel LEDs. The Radiant Edge Series is a unique design which combines the efficiency and reliability of our LED strip lights with the sleek look of a diffused lens. The new style of this panel offers a steady beam of light, eliminating the dot effect that other LEDs may leave on particularly glossy surfaces. Radiant Edge Series lights are now available in customs lengths starting at just $16.80!
Our Design Team has been hard at work this holiday season creating new projects for anyone that looking to upgrade to LEDs in time for the New Year. If you too have been bitten by the LED bug, it’s very easy to get their help! Just send in a picture or a sketch of the area where you would like to add lights, provide some dimensions, add a few personal specifications (such as preferred color temperature, brightness, and power source), then send an email to design@inspiredled.com. One of our skilled designers will begin working on a layout of your new system, and should contact you when it is finished! Best of all, services are always FREE!
